We understand the importance of community and the role local businesses can play in directly helping people in the communities they serve. Within a couple of years of establishing PhilipAlexander we were able to start giving back, which has continued and grown ever since.
Since 2009 we have sponsored countless events over the years and helped raise money for their initiatives including fireworks displays, art competitions and talent shows. You’ll often see our property boards across the borough promoting their next school fair.
During the pandemic we started getting involved with Hornsey Food Bank. Our office, next door to Tesco, is a donation drop off point providing a convenient way for people to donate items Monday to Saturday. Every Thursday our team drop off the latest donations.
Read MoreHornsey has an interesting local history, which has been actively documented and shared by the Hornsey Historical Society. We support the society’s work including sponsorship of their new book ‘100 Stories From The Archive’, unlocking a treasure trove of local history.
As of 2022 we have also started supporting Hornsey Bowls Club, sponsoring their annual tournament day, and Holy Innocents Church in Crouch End with a donation to their autumn fair.
If you would like to suggest a local organisation that needs support, please get in touch.
PhilipAlexander have supported St. Mary’s for many years. They have donated money, judged talent shows, art competitions, sponsored summer and Christmas fairs, been Father Christmas, sponsored events and supported children and families to have and pay for experiences they may not have otherwise had. They are a vital part of our school community. We thank you for your continued support.
